This was a very hot day watering the garden. This is a row of pole beans just getting started and a vistor decided the sprinkler felt pretty good. (look a little bit above center next to the closest pole.

you'll have to wait till summer for me to post a pic. I can't find my garden pics from last year. BUMMER Had cabbage plants as big as tractor tires

I'm a productivity girl myself, pretty is nice, but I want things useful.

This is the 2 ft wide strip next to the house foundation, most people leave it dirt or perhaps toss in a few annuals. I use mine for things that I don't want crouding my garden.

Basil, mints, chives, garlic, shallots, spraling tomatoes are all crammed in this 2 X 6 area. the other 2 had melons that could vine and not smother smaller plants.

This is my flower garden in the summer. I miss it!!!! I am SO ready to smell it as soon as I come out of the house. My mom comes to visit and demands a bouquet of my roses

It's cute how much she loves them so I always oblige. I have bought her several rose bushes and gave her bulbs, cuttings, and everything from the flowers in this garden, but she has a brown thumb

I like having them for her as much as for myself and the kids help me keep the garden pretty.

Ya know...this is torture. I just got a seed catalog in the mail too, and the snow just melted off today....
