That’s quite a few predators!yes they will. Now they only go into the little stream on the other side of the house. Only predator under water is the pike.
above water ofcourse humans, crows, heron, seagul, cormorant, eagle and so on. But when they are full-size duckies I doubt that they will come and get them. Our call ducks never get caught... On land it’s more dangerous I think
But not really bad ones for adult ducks right? Which ones do you have? That’s quite a few predators!
How adorable
They are lovely! Do you mean Crested ducks with pom-poms?? I’ve always understand that they have a lower chance of survival and when mom and dad both have pom-poms they don’t survive at all..View attachment 2183369
These are my Runner babies, our first ever hatch, we got 3 out of 6 eggs. We had hoped for more exciting colours and possible pom poms
Next batch from a different source are now in the incubator, I'm hooked!
The eggs were from crested and non crested Runners so we hoped for at least one crest but no signs yetThey are lovely! Do you mean Crested ducks with pom-poms?? I’ve always understand that they have a lower chance of survival and when mom and dad both have pom-poms they don’t survive at all..
