I only named my two roosters. Well, really only one. Roo is well a Roo. He's my "so I got a rooster after all".

The one rooster I purchased to guard the flock, and be my vicar in the coop got named Mr. Vic, short for Vicar.

I got a burning question for all you silkie owners out there:
Did miss it or have none of you named a silkie Gossamer?
Gossamer, I tell you... its a conspiracy!

Seriously folks, every time I see pics of those fuzz balls yall call silkies, all I can think of is Gossamer. For those that didn't grow up with looney tunes, Gossamer was Marvin the Martian's (OOOh Goooodie) pet monster. Bugs bunny got after him with a pair of scissors and all that was left was his sneakers.

Will someone donate a silkie to me just so the world will have a silkie named Gossamer? lol

Don't pay me no mind... I'm just being silly.

GOSSAMER!!!
