great nesting box ideas!!!!! thumbs up!!! my hens just lay their eggs on one half of their coop and sleep in the other half. my coop is to small for actual boxs

nothing fancy about the design! but I did put a slanted board on the top to stop them roosting on the top.

Here is a picture of my nest boxes, I used left over 1' x 4' pieces of OSB I got from work. It has a slanted roof so the chickens can't poop all over the roof, I also added a 3" strip to the top of the opening to make it darker and cozier for the hens. In my chicken tractor I used a plastic cat litter pail which I nailed to a board so it would not tip over.
