One of my fathers hens isn't looking so good.
We thought maybe her vent was blocked and went out to the run to try and see what was going on.
There was a lot of green (maybe from vegetable scraps?) poop stuck to her feathers, but we couldn't tell if the vent was actually closed. Anyway what we did see is that she was bald below the vent and it looked very red and swollen.
We cleared away the gunk as best we could and put some Vaseline on for good measure. vent is now clear for sure.
While we were taking care of the vent side, I noticed a few times that liquid was dripping out of her mouth.... chicken equivalent of throw up?

anyway we tried to get a picture.. its attached below. Any advice is welcome!

The liquid from her mouth is the equivalent of chicken throw up. That was most likely caused by stress. The vent problem, however, is probably just an infection of some sort caused by the feces.

thanks. we are going to do a vent check to see if we can feel an egg and go from there.
She was up and moving about a bit and eating too so hopefully no big deal.

Been reading up on the various threads and think I know enough to try and help, if it is indeed a stuck egg.
