Sick ducks please help

Muscovy's are a hardy breed if given good feed which duck starter would be. Could they possibly be eating something while free ranging that may be poisonous? I know it seems all would be affected but my Muscovy's aren't always together when foraging. I'd def give the vitamins a go since vitamin deficiency can cause lameness especially niacin def. And the antibiotics also.

Grain? what all is in it? not just corn?[/QUOTE

It's wheat.... we've always fed our ducks this way and never had any problems. Do you think we should be feeding them more variety?

A diet of just wheat is not ideal. Can you switch them to an all flock feed or chick crumble instead?

Runner duck club reccommends wheat as a staple feed. Here in the USA we have so many choices it hard to know what’s best most rec an all flock since it has different grains in it. All I can say if you’ve had no problems with feeding wheat before then it’s up to you to add more grains to it. It maybe worth an experiment to see if mixing up more grains in their feed may Help them physically it’s something you’ll only know if you try it.

We are in rural France... The only option we have is wheat, wheat/corn mix or really expensive grain mixes from specialist shops I'll try the wheat/corn mix
