I have a sick looking hen and I was wondering if it would be okay to use Save-a-Chick supplement for her, she is about a year old.

You need to go over to the "emergencies and injuries" forum and describe your hen's symptoms. You'll get far more help for her there.

Meanwhile, I see no danger in using the chick supplement to see if she perks up. Don't use it for too long, though, or she may get habituated to it and ignore her layer ration. In fact, could you perhaps mix it into her layer feed?
