We just cant seem to catch a break!
My Pekin had an injured/infected foot and so I brought him inside and treated it with salt compresses and triple antibiotic ointment. He was improving and even started standing on it. But then he started getting lethargic and he stopped eating/drinking for me. Now he barely moves and I saw mites on him when I soaked him in the tub. He isn't preening and his vent is matted with bright green poop. I can't get to TSC until tomorrow as they are closed. I plan on dusting him with poultry/garden dust and starting him on Duramycin-10 as well. Our vet is closed (I already called) and right now I have him in a dark quiet warm room in my bathroom with access to watered down grain and water with pedialyte in it.
Here is the thread I posted under emergencies with pictures https://www.backyardchickens.com/t/733164/lethargic-8mo-old-pekin-with-mites#post_10191696
Any additional help would be awesome, I'm afraid he went down pretty quick and so I'm not sure if he will survive the day.
