I have a pigeon that seemed slightly off yesterday, and today is huddled at the back of their little house with her feathers all fluffed up. The thing that seemed off about her yesterday is that she was, well, dirty. This is a pure white bird, and normally never gets so much as a SPECK of dirt on her. But now her feet and breast area are all mucky, like she has been sitting/standing in poop. I picked her up to check her over, and she has lost a bunch of weight and appears to have some greenish/yellow diahrrea as well. She did come and eat when I fed, but only a small amount and then went back to huddling up in the house. Her crop has a slightly gritty feel to it, do pigeons get things like sour crop like chickens do? If anyone has any advice, I would greatly appreciate it.
