People are going to think I'm crazy, taping up my chickens crests. I already fuss with them so much as it is.

They just don't get it. lol

I actualy think it's too high, part of her crest is sticking out on the bottom so it looks like she can't see, but she can it's just the fuzz above her eyes

I also clipped her crest over the winter so that spot s shorter than the rest.

May I ask why? I've taken scissors and cut some feathers around the face area on my PQ hens in the past.

Wouldn't do that to any of the birds I plan on showing, though.

Yeah I only did it to Ice because I thought she was just going to be PQ but she's turning out better than expected. I will NOT be touching Snow's crest, just taping it up. Also just tape for Ice from now on as well.
