Silkie chick color??

Pulled it out of a bin at a farm store!

Did some looking at other silkie chick colors and I just have no clue !

I would guess either white or splash. Mixed color could also be possible.
At around 6 days of age you should be able to tell by looking at the feathers coming in on the wings.

Good call! She has some dark pin feathers mixed with the white ones already, splash is super pretty too—
UGH all silkie colors are good colors!

Sure! Take a photo with the wings spread out like this. The chick in the photo is black for reference.

Guess who’s 11 days old!
I was too scared I’d hurt the chick because it started to struggle when I tried to look at the wings, so here are the feathers!!

I’m assuming this is a splash chick?
And is it a bearded silkie, or no?

Yes this little sweetie is splash!
I can see some of the splash markings coming in at the base of the wings. It does appear to be bearded. How much of a beard it ends up with will be difficult to tell until it gets older.
