Yes his girlfriend su-chan has gone broody on 1 EGG!!!! She throws any other eggs out of the nest. Sadly ah-chan got eaten by a hawk last week

If you have just just silkie roosters try getting a different new rooster for your flock,a good rooster will alert the flock of predaters and tell them to run and the rooster can fight the hawk off......it would work for you and your precious birds wouldnt be getting ate.....let me no if you need some rooster breeds that might be good

I got sic of the hawks, and regarding your comment, got 3 new roosters. I also fenced everything and the roof.
