This is my 5 week old silkie/ Amerucana chick. I'm starting to lean toward cockerel what do you guys think?

Mrs. Puff, my silkie/buff brahma cross. She just started laying last week.

She is adorable! I have a buff brahma bantam that could also be crossed with a splash Silkie roo. Oh, the possibilities!

I'm wondering if I can get a cross from showgirls/silkies and some large blue egg laying breed and get a mini emu look, lol? I have a beautiful feathered partridge showgirl cockrel but no experience with crosses. I get bigger silkies/showgirls using the farmers almanac and know the hen gives type. So I would use a large hen of another breed that has dark skin and lays blue eggs and set eggs using almanac. Is there any lethal genes I need to worry about? Any better ideas to reach my goal? :/

My 3 kedu/silkie chicks. All 3 have 5 toes, 2 have black feathered legs and the other has the tiniest bit of fuzz on its legs but has pink toes. The pink toe one also has a white butt and wing tips and looks more gray than black. I will post new pics in a few days.
