Silkie Gone.

I have a silkie named Elsa. She was used on my top breeding line and now she is gone. I don't know what got her but I will put out a trap and then I will most likely kill it. I know it sounds brutal but I put so much work it gets me so ****** off. Well, Does anyone have top notch breeding hens, as I will need one soon!

I have been there before. Let me make a suggestion. Secure your coop and run to prevent from happening again.
Trapping and killing the predator, will only temporarily solve until another one arrives. I know you are hurt/upset/sad.
I had silkies before. Actually my first chickens 20 years ago were a few silkies. I refer to them a hawk magnets. Polish girls fall in the same category. I have 3 of those now. Only free range when I follow them.
