silkie or not

I was told I was buying 2 silkies a hen and rooster I know sex can't be knew yet bit do I have silkies

The black one might be a Silkie.

The lighter one might be a Silkie mix.

ETA: I believe there are ways that the dark skin is sex linked--so if the person you got them from knows what they are doing, you may indeed have a pullet and cockerel. I think the pullet would be the one with dark skin, but I'm not certain. Also, they of course would both be mixes.
