Thought I'd get some opinions on my growout pen. I have 1 who is confirmed roo (mottled showgirl with cross beak), Joe Dirt started crowing at least 4 weeks ago. But no one else has joined in 🤷‍♀️ Silkies are roughly 16-20 weeks, including the tiny black and tiny white ones that arent growing. The buff laced polish are 12 weeks.

Polish #1: Female
Polish #2: Male

I'm not the best at sexing these two breeds... They are two of the most difficult breeds to sex.

I'm not experienced with Polish, so I'm not even gonna try.

The silkies are really confusing me cause when I look once I see one thing and then I look again and see the complete opposite.
I think I do see streamers on Truffle and Mavis (blue, not grey) though, which makes me suspect they're cockerels.
Possibly Peaches and Earl as well.
Dorothy and Wanda look like pullets. And probably Pearl as well.

That's the problem I have as well! I think well it looks like streamers on all which makes me think I'm overthinking it 🤣 I will say, what I think I'm seeing as streamers are nothing like what my older white roo or Joe Dirt have, theirs are much more distinct and twice as long.

Wanda and Pearl also throw me since I believe they are failure to thrive they aren't feathering out ir growing at the same rate 😔 these photos were when I got them in January. And a group shot showing size differences (Wanda is in middle up again Joe Dirt, Pearl toward bottom)

This is how I'm leaning as well (or at least hopeful for 🤞) The 2 hardest to tell and but I love them so I obsess every year for months 🤭 Last year I got 6 silkies and 5 were roos 🙃

Any ideas in Peaches coloring? Breeder said buff partridge. Her feathers have barring in the orange crest and neck as well as the greyer feathers. Almost like a cuckoo look but I'm not sure
