My silkies start to lay anytime after 8 months of age.

updating...ended up with three roos and one hen was sure I had 2 hens and then one morning yellowbeek crowed!! at that point I was odwn to a pair and couldn't break them apart so gave them to a local farmer that still sends me pics of them....now I am back to square one only this time I have 8 chicks....given to me as a Christmas gift because I was so sad about missing the other 4.....so now I have 8 6-8 week old silkie chicks lol odds are better this time I guess...wish me luck!!
