so I’m looking for a thread of just people sharing photos of their silkies and silkie mixes. Does anyone know if there’s one out there? I know many people love the breed and I would love to see other peoples gorgeous birds. Is anyone else interested in a thread like that?
Included are some pictures of my silkies and satin silkie babies!

I’ve got, purebred silkies (white, black and blue) I’ve got sultans, and a few showgirl project birds.

Here are my blue and blacks. Rooster and frizzle are 5yrs old. I’m pretty sure he’s sterile. Don’t get many babies out of him. Sultan is his and the frizzles. The babies shown (also with sultan) are out of the sultan and recessive white Silkie. So all the black and blue babies are recessive white

I forgot to mention that I also have buffs. Rooster in the top left is about one year. The rest are 5-6 months. My buffs along with my other silkies are work in process.

The whites. Middle hen is 5 yrs old, rooster on the bottom right is one year, grow out on the bottom left is 2 month, and the babies on top are one week.

Then here is my project. Here is southern Mo people don’t really raise showgirls so I’m coming out with my own line. Partridge, black, blue, white, and paint. I’ll take lots of time to get them near perfect but I’m ready for the work. These are f1, next years babies from them will be silkie feathered.

And I have some sultans from the project that look like this

And I’ve got quite a few Silkie mixes. Hopefully I can get rid of vulture hocks in my silkies (well abut my buffs they don’t have any) and my showgirls. I am wanting to raise nice quality silkies.

Wow your birds are gorgeous! I love the body type of your black silkie roo, what a bummer he’s sterile. It’s awesome you work with so many colors. I’m going on the first to meet a breeder to buy a trio for BBS and chocolate projects I’m working on! I’m so so excited😊
