Silkie thread!

Thank you for the welcome! I bought the hen from a breeder, and she told me she was a pale blue ?? and the cockerel came from fertile eggs we bought from a breeder, the eggs apparently from a mixed pen,and I "think" he's a silver partridge, but not totally sure. I absolutely love the colour of the hen and would really like to know what her "official" colour is. Until I started researching, I had no idea there were so many colours out there.

Roo's comb is huge, and had thought it a bit odd myself. I have two other roos with normal combs, nothing like this little guy's.

they both look to be silver partridges to me, his waddles probably look bigger because he looks to be non bearded

Ahh, Silver Partridge is what I had thought for the little roo, but because she's so light, wasn't sure about the hen. Roo is also still quite young and has some growing to do, so hopefully grows into his comb and wattles some time soon. Thanks again.

There are so many Silkie colors! I love Blues though. I like that silver partridge it's very pretty!
