Silkie thread!

Does anyone keep track of weights on silkies? I know these are small birds but I feel like they are so thin with very prominent keel bone. Mine have food all the time. They are 15 to 18 weeks and range in weight from 1.5 lbs to 2.5 lbs. they seem normal. Here is a few pics

What is the first sign of a roo?

The females have more fuzz on their head, like hanging in their face. While males is more swept back.

My Beautiful Suzy. She was the Sweetest little bird you could ever meet. She very sadly died in a coop fire along with 55 other chickens, ducks, geese, and turkeys. She will forever be misses and remembered!

I have a little concern, my silkie just started picking on my pbr cockerels to the point my hens are stepping in. Does that mean its a roo too?

Depends... sometimes I have hens that hate cockerels more than other roosters.
