how long should i wait till i take my newly hatched chics out of incubator ? it's my first hatch

Depends on the type you have and how the hatch is going once they are dried off and fluffy they should be ready just take thelm out quickly as you can so as not to let out to mutch humidty.

They can go up to 2 days with the nourishment of the egg yolk. JEN

Everything I have read suggests leaving them well alone until the hatch is complete. Opening the incubator, even for a tiny amount of time, can let out too much humidity and can jeopardize the chicks yet to hatch. Leave well alone until they are all done. Like pps has said, chicks can leave comfortably of nothing but the yolk sack for two to three days
