Sitting in the box but no eggs?!

Weather and daylight in Hawaii is constant, feed hasn’t changed but my consistent hen just stopped laying.

I don’t think so, she only spends about 15/20 minutes in the box once a day.

She is a rescue, just found her a month ago dumped at a local park with our wild chicken population. Other online gals here think they is about 2years based on appearance.

I had a hen not go to roost one night a couple weeks ago. She sat in the nest box all night and the following day I found an egg without a shell in the nest box.I suspect it was hers but can't be sure. She sat around with ruffled feathers for weeks but nothing I did helped her. She only drank water and refused to eat (she had no other symptoms I was aware of)The only thing I can figure out is she had a shell still inside her.

Yup, acting 100% same!

Hmm, since you've only had her a month it could be anything. I wouldn't worry too much as long as her behavior doesn't change and she's active and healthy. Sometimes even consistent layers will take a brief break and then resume later on.
