Sizzle?

I have 3 "frizzled silkies" and I am wondering if they are actually considered sizzles. They have black/blue skin and 5 toes.

Okay thank you! So many people say different things. All the genetics with silkies, frizzles, sizzles, and frazzles is so confusing

They are only 8 weeks, they're feathers are just starting to flip

I don't think they look frizzled or sizzled. They look like silkies growing out feathers. One looks like it has light colored feet. All seem to have big combs for such a young age. You may want to post the photos also on the "Silkie thread," to see what breeders think.

I agree, my frizzle's will start getting their first upturned feathers around 1 week old. Some a few days eatlier, some a few days later. Theirs are 8 weeks? They should be frizzled alot by now.
No experience with sizzles tho.
Here's my 4 week frizzle for comparison

Now at 5.5 weeks he is frizzed everywhere but his head, no pic tho
...if yours were sizzles they would look like it by now, I'm fairly certain.
Again tho, no experience with sizzles, just frizzles...

Yup, at a week old the feathers start to turn up at the ends. By 8 weeks they are visibly frizzled. These arent silkies, just frizzle but you can see how frizzled they are. They are 2 weeks old
