SLW 9 weeks - pullet / cockerel?

Micro at 13.5 weeks, any clearer yet? I'm still on the fence.

I think this is a probably a pullet.

I raised a Blue Laced Silver cockerel and 4 Black Laced Silver pullets last year.

My cockerel at only a few weeks.

By 13-14 weeks he definitely looked all boy! He had so much more silver than the girls, his comb was starting to thicken and his saddles were coming in.
I had one pullet with the dark area across the back of her neck. See her standing at the top of the ramp? I was wondering would 'she' be a late developing cockerel. Her comb and wattles were way more red than this picture shows. But she is a hen now and lays almost every day!

Thank you, and thanks for the photos! Your cockerel definitely had more mass to his comb at this age, and interesting to see the black neck patch on a pullet. I had 2 GLW's in my first purchase of chicks 3 or 4 years ago and they both ended up being cockerels, one had the black patch and one didn't.

Oh well, I just set 22 silkie eggs yesterday to get a couple more pullets for my lone TSC white silkie girl I'm shooting for a little flock of 8 silkies.

But, just to check, do you think this is actually a pullet?

I do think that's a pullet.

I have a 'bator but love to watch a mama with babes!
