That is really shocking those are some of the states that i thought would be the best states. Luckily my state wasn't one of them. And the best states are pretty shocking too.

These are always very subjective lists. I've lived in six states, including Hawaii, and which state is best depends on what you are looking for in a state. If you want no winters and like outdoor activities, Hawaii is unsurpassed. If want a low cost of living, low tax rates, wide open spaces, seasons, or winter sports, then Hawaii is not the place for you. If you hate high tax rates, don't move to California or New York either; move to Alaska, Wyoming, or Nevada. Then of course there are always issues of religion and politics (conservative vs. liberal)' and the list goes on. There is no such thing as paradise in this life and the best state to live in depends entirely on the individual. Whichever state you live in, enjoy the best of it while you are there.

My state wasn't in either list. My state is just so-so I guess LOL!
