Spots on duck egg shell?

First time duck mom here. Why does my ducks egg have these spots on the outer shell? It’s really hard to wash off. Does anyone know if this is normal?

Perfectly normal. I believe it is just spots where the bloom is thicker. I do not wash my eggs unless they are covered in poop. Even then, I only use a wet paper towel. The bloom naturally protects the egg and makes it last longer so I don’t want to wash it off.
