Strange cross? I'm stumped....

What are these?!
They have black feathers that appear blue, green, and purple in the light.
They have little white feathers on their necks.
They have virtually no combs compared to their siblings...

And within the two, you can see differences (like the amount of white on their necks, and that one has very long hackles while the other has very short ones)

So... Male or female? Or is it their odd cross that makes them so different?

So this is a silver duckwing over barred rock? If I'm not mistaken this would be a cross resulting in sex-linked offspring so the difference would be the four that are barred would be male and these two would be female....

Silver duckwing male over barred female would give you barred male offspring and black female offspring that have silver leakage. The two in your photo are pullets. The others that look like your barred rock are cockerels.
