sunflower seeds

I just had an accident where I fed my 6 girls salted sunflower seeds and freaked out! I had my husband pick up sunflower seeds at the store and he got the wrong kind. I wish I had checked before I tossed my chicks a few. Now I’m all over here trying to find out if my hens will be ok. Help!

I honestly don't think one handful of salted sunflower seeds will harm them! Make sure they have plenty of fresh water. Good luck with your flock.

They will be fine... Chicken are like shrimp. They scour and eat everything in their path.
