After only 24 hours I am quite impressed with the Murray McMurray Chicks. I can't even tell who the "unhappy" one was from yesterday. They only ate maybe 1/4 of the gel substance but they are all roaming around pecking at the feed and drinking. So they don't appear to be stressed....but time will tell in a few more days. - Of course I forgot to take pictures!

The incubator is starting to fill up....

No eggs from the Doms yet... This guy is probably one of my favorites in the coop... I can just stand there and pet him all day and he just sits there... But I think he like to be held more...

I’m excited for the breeding season to really get going!

Morning all.

I had an early cup of coffee then went out to scrape the white Fungi off my drive and yard that grew overnight.

Happy Birthday String...

BC I use the instant pot all the time. I can not say I get the chicken to taste like a store bought broasted one......BUT I can tell you any old rooster will turn tender and tasty in them.

Cowboy beans are easy and take about 30 minutes start to finish. I buy dried beans and prepare them in the pot, way better than the canned ones and cheaper.

My daughter is more creative with hers, she makes cottage cheese and yogurts in hers and all kinds of inedible Indian Dishes...

“Rocky” is a spoiled brat! I thought of a name for awhile and couldn’t think of anything so I named him Rocky....
