I’m not at Minnesota, but my chickens won’t step on snow! They will look at it from the coop and that’s it!

Lol, it takes them a while to get use to snow, but it’s fun to watch them try to avoid snow for the first couple days.

Grad party done for the twins last weekend. Now clean time for the house up north. Closing on the 26th.

My barred rock has a big belly and fly strike. Ugh. What is this that my birds are getting?! Yuck. I caught flystrike but big belly unnerving.
Double yolker from one of the mmms today.

Hot days up here. Waiting anxiously for the rain at 2 am.

Pork butts for pulled pork last weekend. Turned out fabulous.

They were young and dumb. Lol. Plus forced chicken model labor going on in that picture a bit.
Second year birds will barely lay one toe on a snow flake. Even in the great white north.

I have a super garden going. It appears my corn will be ankle high by the 4th of July.
