Sussex

Hi everyone I'm thinking about getting Sussex chickens what's everyone s opinion on them?I'm not sure what breed of Sussex to get are they quiet?good egg layers?any opinions on Sussex roosters? thanks
I have a Sussex, used to have 2 but we lost one. Not sure if sussexes divide into different breeds or not. Mine have grown pretty big (have one who's 8 years old and nearly the size of 2 standard sized chickens!) But they're lovely and love a cuddle :)

I only have speckled sussex. They are the best chickens I have ever had. Sweet, inquisitive, solid layers, good foragers, and absolutely stunning to look at. You won’t regret getting them.

I know this is an older thread, but just wanted to say I've had a lot of sussex roosters and I'm yet to come across an aggressive one. The are pretty docile natured, that said my current fellow took on a wedge-tailed eagle a couple of weeks ago to protect his girls

guys i need Self Blue Coronation Sussex at Europe or asia. i m searching for 4 month. Coronation sussex(self-blue) only at Australia and America :(
