sweet pdz in brooder

I have chicks in my house and im having to change out the bedding almost daily. These chicks are 9 weeks old and the only reason they arent outside yet is because i need to do some reconfiguring in the coop for integration. Anyway...... would it be ok to empty all bedding from the brooder and use JUST pdz. That way i could sift. Or would this pose issues?

I use pelletized horse bedding. Works great, and clumps.

Out of curiosity, what size is your brooder and how many do you have in there?

Its a large dog crate and there are 9 in there. Really not enough room, but they are moving outside in a few days. Just trying to get through the next few days

We should be picking up our chicks tomorrow and I plan to use Sweet PDZ in the brooder.
I plan to toss some wood shavings in there, too.
