Swelling around the beak

My wedding true blue has had a growth on the sides of her peak for the last month or so. She has been treated by a vet with amoxicillin and has also received a canker treatment and nothing seems to be helping. Does anyone have any insight? Her breath does not smell bad and there are no yellow chunks in her mouth or throat but her beak still looks like it’s withering.

I'm not quite sure what to make of it. For some reason I want to say it's related to the scaling on the beak/face. But I could be totally wrong on that.
Is her beak brittle? It looks like.

I don’t know what that could be. I would be tempted to use some miconazole cream or vaseline on the face in case of fungus or scaly face mites. It wouldn’t hurt. But I really don’t know what that is. Be sure to give her some probiotics, such as plain yogurt or buttermilk with her food since she has been on antibiotics.
