Once you introduce dirt and grass from your yard, watch for signs of coccidiosis. Treatment is simple if they get it, but you do need to be aware. If you are feeding medicated feed, they may be fine, but if not, CORID is the answer. Many chickens never come down with this - their systems adjust just fine with no symptoms even on non-medicated feed. Occasionally you'll have one who gets it. CORID dosage is easy to search in the Emergency Forum. If you don't catch it in time, they can die. But it's generally easy to notice and treat.
