Temp drop in incubator.

Hoping someone can give me some positive news. I checked my incubator last night before going to bed and it was spot on 99.5. When I got up this morning it was at 96.7!!! I have no idea how long it was that cold since it had been hours since I checked it (while I slept). Everything I've ever read it says DONT LET THE TEMP DROP BELOW 99.5!! CERTAIN DEATH!!! I candled them this afternoon but can only see the air cells since they're so far along. What are the odds that this dumb incubator just killed all my chicks on day 17? Please! Someone give me hope!!

They'll be fine. They might be a little delayed in hatching but it won't have killed them, especially with them being this far along.

Phew! Thanks!! I've owned chickens forever but this is my first time with an incubator. Less stressful when you let the mama hen hatch them. Lol
