I have one chicken that is developing black spots on its comb. The only pics i have seen online that it resembles are frostbite victims and i know thats not the case around here lately. What else could cause that? And im hoping no one says fowl pox...i will try to get a pic of it later today

unfortunately that was the first thing that came to mind when you said black spots on their comb I had fowl pox last year on 4 of my bantams, only lost one to it though, the rest did fine. i assume all the others had it as well but only found the black spots on the 4.
