Those legs look the best yet. A little darker on the legs and the beak and you've got a barred ameraucana. Her eye color and body type look really nice.
I'm new to Ameraucanas--I needed something with a good temperament, cold & heat hardy, able to range well, lay decently and something a little fun for my daughter (colored eggs). I bought "chocolate" hatching eggs this spring from a breeder in Oregon and out of 15, I had 13 hatch. All of them except one are black. I sold the single combed, bare-faced or otherwise obviously undesirable chicks this summer (7 in all). I still have a trio for sale but I'm planning on keeping another trio.
Rare feathers, I am in love with your gorgeous Ameraucanas I have two black beauties who look just like yours. Don't you just love the iridescent colors and their spiffy little beards? Have fun! Thanks for keeping the breed going strong!
