I am very interested in this topic and want to thank Chinese Capons for the great step by step photos. As soon as my two little boys that hatch out yesterday are ready for slaughter, I am going to try my first surgery on a freshly dead carcass to be sure I understand, then we will be caponing lots of boy chicks 'round here.
 
Wow SO neat! I didn't realize the testes were that small.

I think China do not have the same meatbirds as we do but all of them will finish out nicely!
 
I think I'm getting some packing peanuts from someone next month. If I lose a chick, I'm planning to practice on a dead one. Then, I'm hoping to caponize the bunch of peanuts.
Is there a place to buy just the spreaders without buying the kit? I have the other parts.
