The "Dirtbath-Trio"

When I let my girls, Daisy, Pumpkin & Sweet-Pea out of the run.....they RUN straight to a patch of dirt (dug for that purpose) for a dirtbath. Last time they spent about half an hour in there.....Pumpkin is always the last to get out. Our roo TRIES to join in but gets squashed out...as the dirt pit is only big enough for 3 hahhaa....so funny to see his dignity thrown yet again out the window!!!
Ive included many pics of their bathing.....sorry but I LOVE watching them...its so darn cute!!!

Our Girls are nuts for the dust bowl. I hung the lamp over the sand.
I love how you reach down and pet them and they fluff out a big cloud of dust.
I praise them for remembering to have their bath today. (yup, crazy chicken lady)

Thats sooo cute. Mine used to dust bath in their grit tray but there wasnt enough room for 3 when they got bigger.
Here they are in the grit tray.

I am sooooo glad I am not the only one that likes to watch the girls take a dustbath. They have taken over my husband's pole barn (where he keeps his tractor).

It is now known as the 'Dust Barn Spa'!!
