The EE braggers thread!!!

I have three little cuties that I just hatched out of AM eggs from a fellow BYCer. What is the chance that I have one of each blue, black, and splashed? How would you tell the dif between black and splashed? The one in front has more yellow fuzz than the other.

here are some pics. i've noticed they haven't grown as fast as some buff mixes i have. but i'm guessing the buffs are just fast growers.

It could be that this is a male and is exhibiting the slow feather gene. That is a sex link gene and it takes the males longer than the females to feather out.
 
Poor nutrition doesn't neccssicarily mean quantity of the feed, but quality. For example a bird on purnia is likely to develop better than a bird on an all cracked corn diet
agreed, and also agree with the possible sex linked slow feathering gene. I had a lavender orpington who had bald spots, not as significant as these, but she turned out to be a pullet.
