The EE braggers thread!!!

I think she might be more of a Brown Leghorn crossed with an Ameraucana, her big white earlobes and color hint more to a brown leghorn, plus her egg color too, welsummers and Ameraucana crosses usually yield Olive Eggers.
She is Beautiful tho, I have one that is feathering out just like her, but mine seems to have a little bit more muffs.

As a coincidence, just today I realized she was not laying the egg I thought. Hers is the one right in front. It does have a tint of green in it. I always assumed her egg was the one to the left...a little paler blue. So what do you think? Would that make a diff. in your parentage guess?
Still brown leghorn? Or would it be a brown egg layer/ameraucana? I love trying to sleuth out the parents. lol

Oh I love too trying to figure out my chicken parents lol.
Where did you get her from? If you got her from a hatchery, it will be kind of difficult to figure out what breeds shes got behind her. But I still think shes got Brown Leghorn in her as a welsummer blood in her will give hey more of a olive colored egg.

BTW yous guys, I see that I am not the only person to read posting quickly and not discern what the OP said. I stated that Christie Rhae's EE reminded me of welsummer coloring but it was not intended to mean that that breed was part of the parentage. I have welsummers, EE and Brabanter LF but have never seen a brown leghorn. I lack interest in investigating mixed breeds parents. On the other hand I do think about creating different birds from crossing some of the breeds that I own.

Different point of view as in true democracy is ruled from the bottom up and not the top down as it is now.

Need some side photos for sure. At first glance, the way it is posturing at the camera, makes me think rooter, but really, that is just a major guess without a better view at the side of the bird. Cute photo!

Yeah I'm thinking roo too it seems like its got a redish comb for his age, but we need better pictures.

We got 3 ee's last week, supposed to be pullets. Can't wait to see the coloring. Wondering if a chick starts out with a "poofy beard" does that mean it will be alway be more feathery around its neck? 2 of them have chipmunk striping and one is brown.

Can you help me with sex? I have 2 I'm sure are roos, so I won't bother posting their pics. LOL. But here are my 3 "girls" (I'm being hopeful!)
This is the first one. She looks a lot like the other black and white one, but she has a lot of brown in her wings and hind end. My 2 boys look similar, but they also have some red and 1 has some blue/gree/black "lacing" coming in.

She has a very wide looking (to me anyway) comb, but it is still yellow and completely flat. The 2 boys' combs are very big and red now in comparison.

My 2 EE's that I was told were for sure girls when they were younger. Before the black and white one got a redder comb.
