I have a clutch of 12 barnyard mixes as a new incubator test run currently in the incubator and pipping... One lovely baby has already hatched and they have me totally stumped as to who the parents could be because I was so not expecting a nearly solid white chick with some black spotting on the back and mild feathering on the legs. No extra toes.

I have not removed it from the incubator yet as everyone else is just pipped and are starting to zip and I'm not going to risk shrink wrapping them.

The potential fathers:
Hans: Red pyle RIR x Leghorn
Uno: Crele Bielefelder
Sven: Blue/Splash Andalusian
Carlos: Black Breasted Red Ameraucana
Hans: Black Belgian Bantam (D'anvers)
Count de Monet: White beardless Silkie
Smog: Blue/Splash beardless Silkie

Based on egg color, the potential mothers:

Buff Orpington
Salmon Faverolles
Gold Laced Wyandotte
Silver Laced Wyandotte
Rhode Island Red
Mille Fleur D'Uccles (doubtful due to medium size egg)
Sapphire Gem
Barred Rock

So... Thus begins the great who dunnit LOL

Faverolles chicks are mostly white. She could be the mother, especially if the Ameraucana is the father. I'm assuming he is wheaten, not black breasted red, since that is not an accepted color for Ameraucanas.
