The new kids have started to arrive

Corid and I finished the antibiotic the vet gave me but she's probably going to give it to me again so I'll know on Monday.

If she gave Corid for cocci the first time ask if you can use a sulfa drug this time. My vet sent me links to studies that say Corid does not work well in gamebirds and switched me to SulfaMed-G for cocci. Also ask how heavy or light of a load of either cocci or worm eggs they find on the slide. If on the slide there is no cocci when they do the fecal float exam, that would mean the Corid worked. If they do find cocci, then ask about a sulfa drug instead. If they tell you worms, ask what type and how many.

If in the future they will run a fecal exam for you, we can tell you what meds and dosage for cocci or different types of worms.
