The NFC B-Day Chat Thread

Nah, not really moving down. Hard to explain. So the other night when I had the pain on the right side, it lasted a few hours then went away like an hour after I posted. Then now my back started hurting last night and hurt all day today but besides that I was fine with no other pains. Then now just within the last hour or two is when I got this pain in my lower abdomen region again. But this one is different. It's not even really intense paim but just almost feels like bloated or something which is why I thought maybe it was just period or something. I did shower which helped slightly but idk.

They did not check for kidney stones but I'm going to ask.

Cause in the past I've taken tons of Advil and Tylenol and now they're saying Tylenol damages your liver and Advil damages your kidneys so I would like to get those organs checked out
Sounds like trapped gas or constipation.

That's the weird thing. I also have that (I'm falling apart :lau ) and that usually feels different. It's more intense for a short time until I go rather than dull for hours. Plus the first time I drank prune juice and did go but it did not help the pain. That said, sitting it doesn't bother me I just realized so I'm gonna sit for a while.

Drink some hot tea and use a heating pad. See if that helps.

Thanks, I'll try that. I did have apple cider vinegar, lemon, and honey in hot water earlier.

Oh and also I think the more pressing concern is now all my joints but especially fingers feel inflamed/achey :/

I am sitting here wondering how and why Kendra is always so happy and so enthusiastic to face every day. I just got a look at her “list of existing conditions” and it’s overwhelming to see it in one place at one time. I mean, none of this is a surprise, but wow!

Spina Bifida
Tethering spinal cord
Hydrocephalus
Neurogenic bowel and bladder
Autism
Global developmental delay
Bilateral twisted tibia
Fragmented learning
Seizure disorder
Speech and language deficiency

It’s all she’s ever known, I know, so it’s her “normal”. But I’m in awe of her heart, her courage, and her determination. If there was an award for “Most Influential Person Award” she’d be the hands-down winner.

Yes she would!

If gas is trapped it doesn't matter if you have a bowel movement or not. Sometimes the pain will actually get worse afterwards. The tea and heating pad will help the muscles relax.

I agree.
I think we all could learn from her.

If things go out of style, sooner or later they come back in.
There is a benefit to being male. Clothing styles don't really change much.

I am the same way with stuff I never use. You throw it out then you need it.
IF you can find it. You have no idea how often I've had to search forever for something. Yeah, not that well organized.

I would have deleted it off of PayPal but it wouldn't let me
That is odd. When my CC was stolen I was able to delete it from PP and add a new one. Don't know if maybe I added the new one first?

A few years ago, I went through my closest, cleaned out all the never used and donated it to Goodwill
I did that when I retired. Really don't need 20+ dress shirts for example. Still had shirts in good shape that were 25 years old. (See my comment to @drumstick diva ;);) )

Um, is this a bad time to mention that I just bought a formal that I'll probably only wear ocassionally for the next year? Gee, but it's so purty!!
Yeah but you have a VERY good reason to buy that dress. Wouldn't be right for the Grand Master to be escorting Cinderella in her rags ;)

Omg that's huge! I hope that hubby decides to drop it in segments.
Seems like the best way. Is/are the person/people who are going to drop it capable of safely climbing up in the tree high enough to cut the top sections out? On the way down they can cut each piece off 16" from the end, and then 16" from the new end and have it blocked and ready to split when it hits the ground :gig
