The NFC B-Day Chat Thread

Hi Debby. Yea, Thursday, Friday, Monday, guess it doesn't matter when you're retired. I know my Gks are ready for Friday. And I can remember when, to me, Friday evening getting off work being so excited for the weekend.

I remember those Friday's too Pert!

Inefficient way to heat a house, the central heater is a better method. Or if Deb is parked in just one room a small space heater aimed at her.

Some of the old homes in Key West never had heat in them. When the temps dropped to the 40's (which was really cold to tropical folks on an island), it wasn't unusual for them to turn their ovens on for heat. I was lucky, every place I lived there had heat :)

OK Sharron, time to let those nightmares go! You were done with that stuff 8 years ago. Plenty of newer things to have nightmares about ;)

Same with my sister. She and her husband had a printing business. Their accountant told them to pay just one or the other because SS tax is capped. Yeah well now Sister has no SS and the husband is a ex.

No, but there is something you need to let US know! Like how much fun the Princess had at the casino, that she won a ton of money and that you had a reasonable time as well :D

IMHO the kid would be better off in another room. Being in the same room with Mama and not getting her undivided attention isn't going well.

Isn't it funny how "turn off the lights", cut out the half hour showers, turn the temp down" falls on deaf ears until it is THEM paying the bills.

husband still has nightmares about the job, he did the plbg and htg jobs(and air cond) o we're two of a kind
my sister also didn't pay herself, but she had been married to her husband for over 21 yrs so she drawed on his
if she was in the kitchen, it would warm her up , i know when i get cold and the furnace isn't working or the wood stove is out too, i start the oven, and cook a roast while i'm at it, thats what i used many years ago when the electric was out for over a week due to a ice storm up in pa to keep us warm during the day(son was a month or two old)

Afternoon everyone! :frow

Been slacking....just can't deal with all the gnats on several threads.

Welcome back Sour, sounds like you had a great time!

Debby stay warm and safe, don't be slipping and falling....you don't need to be in the same place I was for a year! ;)

Good day Pert, glad to see your still "kicking around" on here! :D
