A few minutes later Mason saw the green place. He knew he would never find Eragon, but she pushed him, leading him to where Eragon was.
"Could you keep this between the two of us, please? The more that know about it, the more likely he is to find me," she said.
Mason jumped tree to tree. She pointed him in the direction. he saw the tracks and smiled, as they were fresh. But she told him no. He jumped to the tree Eragon was in. He saw the tracks led no where and decided he was in the tree. he started to check the hollows.
"Very well" she said.
"Thank you," she said quietly. "What could I do to show everyone that I am trust-worthy enough to be allowed to be a member of the flock?" she asked her.
Mason heard the panting. He checked a hollow nearby. Then another, to finally find him. "There you are" Mason said. "Ah" he winced as he suddenly became tired and his feet hurt. He realized she had stopped helping him and had left.
