So I went to check the water in the coop a little while ago which just so happened to be frozen... It's ok... The chickens have fresh water running outside...
So the waterer was frozen pretty solid. Less than 20 degrees here all day. It was frozen so well that I could not twist the bottom off of it. I tried standing on the bottom and twisting it off and it never came off...
I decided to put the old Scottish Death grip on it... Actually it's just a headlock, but it's deserves a special name now... Well apparently I don't know my own strength. As I was squeezing it like I had a hippie in a headlock, I felt and heard something pop... Inside my ribs...
I'm pretty sure my rib or possibly two, are cracked.... It hurts when I laugh or cough or sneeze... As for the waterer... I had to heat it up to get it unstuck... So the chickens have water in the coop now...
