I've never heard of Sapphires

Sapphires are a result from a Cream Legbar x White Leghorn cross. Most are predominately white and some are crested. They were designed to be blue egg laying machines.

How old are they? With Leghorn genes in them they can grow large combs fairly young. Even the pullets.
