"Floppy comb" is obviously sick/old/dying, you should knock her off now so we can have dinner. Or else we'll have to leave her (after she dies naturally) for the coons/foxes/mink and I'm HUNGRY!

We need a **** dog so I can let the birdies out and not have to babysit them! (Our property isn't fenced and the neighbour on one side has a veggie farm... eek!)

I had one similar situation. About two months ago a newborn chick fell out of the nest while i was inside the house. I heard the chickens making a lot of noise and when I went outside I saw my mix-breed hen, Jenna, with the chick in her mouth running from the rest of the flock. *Facepalm*

One time, a hummingbird ran into our window and couldn't fly very well so before I could get to it, Snow white, my white EE, picked it up in her beak and ran, it was horrible the poor thing kept making little terrified chirps the whole time, we eventually rescued it though and released it back into our yard after some Rest and Relaxation.

Haha I know right! My Australorp Cheep used to eat bumble bees of this one bush that bees were attracted to and it was pretty funny XD
I dont know why she doesnt do it now :/
