I have 5 chickens that are several years old. Australorps, barred rocks, and. Brahma. All great layers of decent sized brownish eggs.
I’ve added 3Easter eggers, and 3 barred rocks to the flock. They are just about 20 weeks.
One of my Easter eggers has started laying this week. She’s laid 2 pretty blue eggs. But they are so TINY.
I’ve gotten 2 so far and when I cracked them they seemed fine inside!
My question is when the egg machinery first gets started do the eggs start out tiny and — evolve???
The EEs are smaller more wiry birds.
I’m overjoyed about the blue eggs—I just can’t remember how the egg laying started with my other hens.

Thanks in advance!!

It's pretty normal for young pullets when they first start laying, to lay odd eggs at first. Tiny eggs, eggs with soft shells or no shells, eggs with no yolks, eggs that have a weird shape or texture.
She's laying, yay! Just give her a little more time to regulate her timing. In the meantime, her little eggs are perfectly safe to eat.
And as hens get older, their eggs tend to get bigger. So comparing her eggs to several-year-old hens is like apples and oranges.
The picture you posted of the eggs, they all look fine.
